| Oct 26th, 2003 8:30 AM I know its taken me a while, but the reality of being the executive designer and head bucket washer forces me to put the web page on hold sometimes. Especially when I have bouquets to make and buckets to wash...So here it is Sunday morning, right after the daylight savings time "fall back" and I am finally getting to my little web page. Finally! I have been encouraging people to read an article from Style 2000 that details what is "the real cost" of wedding flowers. I have been approached by several brides this past week asking me what the "pricing" of bouquets are or other floral items should be beyond that article that I have pointed people to read. They are looking for more "defined" numbers than what that article can give. The following numbers will give you some premium flowers (roses, gerberas, and so on ) in with value added florals (daisy poms, carnations, etc) So here is a quick guide on some basics on what you should expect to budget for, when it comes to flowers: Bridal Party: Bride's Bouquet $100+ Maid of Honor Bouquet $75+ Bridesmaid's Bouquets $50 + Flower Girl Basket $45+ Corsages $25 + Boutonnieres $10-15+ Ceremony Flowers Presentation Bouquets for the altar $100-$200+ each Chuppah/Gazebo $500-$1000+ Pew ends/Chair row $25+ per seating row Reception Flowers Centerpieces $50-100+ per table Cake $100-$300+ (generally $25-35 per tier) Chair Accents $25-$50+ a chair Ok, so let's see how this all adds up! |
